Old Tools

Here is my meager collection of antique tools, most were found cleaning up old farmsteads or in a salvage yard. Some were handed down to me and others I acquired at auctions or yard sales. I don't think I would ever want to part with any of them, but you know what they say ."Anything can be had for the right price"
I hope you enjoy the images and as always, if you have a question or any information don't hesitate to leave a comment.
Thanks

I think these two items are my favorites, Top is a marking gauge made out of rosewood I believe with brass hardware and inlays. Bottom is a square(of course) again rosewood I think with a steel straight edge and brass plate on the inside edge and brass inlay on both sides with steel pins.
another marking gauge, all wood, even the thumb screw, except for a steel pin on the one end
My only wood block plane,
its about 8" long by 2 3/4" at its widest point

Just a few antique drills I saved from the scrap yard
old auger bits

 Clayton & Lambert Mfg. Co.

A few antique torches
top one was stamped the others look like they had a decal that has long since disappeared
Do you know what this is?
I found it while helping a friend clean up around his farm
It is about 3 feet long and the front handle is forge welded
It's a hay saw!

MORE TO COME....................
